and riding tests for young horses. On the basis of X-ray he is rated class I - which means perfect X-ray without statement. Lars Gehrmann, breeding director of the Trakehner Verband, evaluated Summertime's first foal crop as follows: 'Haemelschenburg's Premium Stallion Summertime celebrated the start of his breeding career with a bang. Numerous well muscled foals with three above average basic paces and a very athletic appearance caught the eye. The movement shows a lot of impulsion with good balance, excellent activity from behind and an especially good canter. Great lines and well set necks are also marks of the mostly very well conformed Summertime foals.'

| The distinguished premium mare "Sarogna" was
successful in riding tests. She was qualified for the German championship
under saddle and was highly placed at two regional Trakehner mare
conformation shows in the Rheinland in 1988 and 1996. Her son "Showtime" by "Showmaster" is really successful in dressage tests (first place in 29 tests!). "Arogno", elite sire, is well known as one of the most popular sires since WWI. He is vice champion of the National German Riding Show for young horses at Münster-Handorf. He comes up with several successful sport sires like "Karon" - winner dressage competitions Kl.S, "Schwadroneur" - sire of the year 2000 in denmark and "TCN Partout" - victorious at Grand Prix level ridden by Anky van Grunsven, netherland. The champion of the stallion performance test and winner of several dressage
tests at advanced level "Valerian", by "Ibikus"is her
grandfather.
"Sarina" by "Wilder Jäger" was successful in dressage tests
up to medium level. This mare family is also responsible for the reserved champion
at the Trakehner stallion selection Neumünster "Samurai" (USA). "Summertime's" sire "Michelangelo" is successful in dressage tests up to advanced level. His confirmation breeding index 2004 is 151 which means he is the best sires in the Trakehner breed. His son "Kennedy", champion of the stallion selection at Neumünster and champion of the stallion performance test and his daughter "Schneeflocke" hit the top prizes on the auction. His dam " Miami" (state premium mare) by the champion of the National Agricultural Fair (DLG) "Matador" is elite mare of the Trakehner Federation. She is also mother of "Monteverdi" (champion at the Trakehner stallion selection and winner dressage test at the stallion performance test). |
