Lars Gehrmann drescribed this premium-stallion of the Grading 2003 as followed: 'Very quick of the mark, fleet-footed, dominating his rythm and with an ecological balance - those are the top-attributes of "Shavalou", who connects in his pedigree the genes of "Enrico Caruso". He enjoys to jump and does it with overall view. Beside of the excellent walk, you have to speak very highly of the elasticity and the development of his swing in trot and canter.

Shavalou is provided with a wonderful character: confident but sensitive, eager and willing to please. Under the saddle he presents all those attributes already described above. His rider is very pleased with him, enjoying to ride him.
Shavalou is winner and well placed in dressage- and riding competitions for young riding-horses.

Shavalou has successfully completed his 30 days-Test at Radegast. His character has was rated 8,5, riding-note 7,75. Shavalou is available for breeding at Hämelschenburg as from now.

Breeding:
His sire "Freudenfest", was the Champion of the grading 1999. He won and has been placed in Young-Ridinghorse- and Young-Dressagehorse-Tests and now he will be trained for the superior Dressage-Tests.

His sire Freudenfest was champion in Neumünster in 1999, and followed his full brother Farinelli, who was proclaimed as champion in 1996. Farinelli competed at S level dressage, while Freudenfest finished his performance test, won young horse classes and then only stood at stud, but was trained to Grand Prix. Freudenfest's sire Tolstoi was premium in Neumünster, he sired several approved sons and very good daughters. Tolstoi's dam Tugend is dam of the S level show jumpers Tiflis and Trenk Quattro (both by Flaneur), while her daughter Turandot IV is dam of the approved Turnus (by Zauberklang *E*) and daughter Titania is dam of Tycoon.
Freudenfest's dam line is the direct one that leads back to the major sire Flaneur, his full brother Mahdi, and the approved Falkensee (NZ and now AUS), Feingeist (CAN), Flugwind, Fasolt (ATA) and Fahnenträger II.
Freudenfest has the following approved sons: Ostpreusse, Godot, premium stallion Shavalou, and in 2007 premium Herzog von Heidenroth.

Shavalou's dam Elitemare Schwalbenspiel is already dam of the premium stallion Saint Cyr and the 2006 Champion stallion Songline, who qualified for the Bundeschampionat of the German Event Horse in 2009. Schwalbenspiel became reserve-champion of the broodmare-show Niedersachsen; she won Young-Ridinghorse-Tests and was 2nd of the mare-performance-test.

2nd dam "Schwalbenlust" (Champion of the broodmare-show Niedersachsen 1995) became reserve-champion of the National Broodmareshow Neustadt/Dosse 1997.

3rd dam Schwalbenburg (Elitemare) is also dam of the graded sires:
