Hörstein, June 28th 2003- on the occasion of Hörsteins big foal show the dark brown colt from Summertime out of Hepburn by Kostolany (breeder: Carolin Hartig/Rolf Markmann) became reserve champion. With his excellent basic gaits he impressed commission and visitors. Congratulation to breeder and new owner. !

Double-win to Alter Fritz daughters!
Moritzburg may, 25th 2003 - the Hämelschenburger stallion Alter Fritz is father to the full sisters Greta Garbo and Gracia Patricia ( mother : Gloriette by Kostolany). Both are overall winners of the central mare grading Neue Bundesländer (south). In the group of the 4 years old mares Gracia Patrizia (breeder: Otto Langels) got 56.5 points, the note 8.5 and became premium mare; once better : her younger sister - the three year old black mare Greta Garbo. She won the grading with 58.5 points and the note of 9.0. Both mares are owned by Bernard Langels, Schäplitz, who is very successful this year with three premium mares of Alter Fritz.

Kostolany's son Gribaldi wins Vilhelmsborg/DK

Vilhelmsborg/DK To compete is equal to win - this seems to be the motto of Edward Gal and Gribaldi by Kostolany. The Champion of the stallion selection win the Intermediaire I during the world cup show in Danmarks Vilhelmsborg with more than 20 points advantage or nearly 2 per cent. The son of Kostolany beats so well known colleagues as Laurentianer (HANN. by Lauries Crusador XX), former world champion of young dressage horses in Arnheim, and Blue Horse Don Schufro (OLD. by Donnerhall).
In the Inter-I-free-style competition at the world cup in danish Aarhus, Gribaldi and Edward Gal ended at an excellent second place.

Gribaldi and Sans Souci (both by Kostolany) are sires of three Champions:
Hofrat (4-years-old-stallions), Kilian (4-years-old-mares and geldings), Baccara (Dressage-Champion) and Distelzar joins the group (Reservechampion, 4-years-old-stallions).
Kasixta - her dam Kandra (elitemare) is bred by KOSTOLANY, became Champion of the 3-years-old mares and geldings. In addition Dios von der Heide (Reserve-Champion 3-years old-stallions) is out of a Kostolany-Mare!

P's Revanche and Hacon S both sons of Kostolany were either winners or higly placed in dressage-competitions Kl. M.

KILKENNY by Alter Fritz out of Kleo's Beste by Kostolany was the winner of the riding-competition for young riding-horses. Ath the Championship he became 3rd. ridden by his owner Hella Kunz.

Offspring of Hämelschenburgs'sires won foal-championships at the stud in Webelsgrund

Springe, june 22, 2002 A beautiful brown daughter of champion-sire Freudenfest out of Agatha Christie by Showmaster (Breeder: Karl-Heinz Kriwet) has been able to win the foal-championships at the stud Webelsgrund.
Vize-champion won a brown daughter of Exclusiv out of premium mare Violetta by Kostolany (Breeder: Helga Niemeyer, Vahlbruch) - this foal absolutly convinced with an amazing type, an impressive frame and three excellent paces.

Soltau, june 8th/9th 2002. The Trakehner stud farm Hämelschenburg got very successful at the 4th Trakehner regional breeding show at Soltau:
State premium mare " Schwalbenspiel" by Exclusiv won second reserve champion ! Before she was also able to win the class of the 5 and 6 year olds.
Her barn neighbours, the 2 year old "Vis-a-Vis" by Kostolany out of Violet by Honeur and also the 4 year old "Guendalina" by Red Patrick xx have been able to win the 1b prize. We also had 3 other mares competing in this class who all finished with excellent results: " Tavolara" by Exclusiv as well as her full sister "Thalia" and "Kalmar" by Exclusiv.
Outstanding mare in the honor class was again our high decorated prime mare " Schwalbenlust" by Enrico Caruso.

The day before the show in Soltau the central registration for brood mares took place: "Thalia" by Exclusiv out of Thirza by Karon, breeder Jutta Langels, owned by Isabell Behmann got 56,5 points and with this she won most successful mare in the class of the 4 year old.
Her half sister "Kalmar" out of Kleo's Double by Kostolany got 55 points and is now named premium mare! (She already past her breeding test for mares with excellent results !!!)
The 3 year old "Pour Moi" by Trocadero out of Pour la joie got 53 points and is registrated for the main stud-book with this she's also an aspirant to the premium mare title!

Brand day for the foals in Hämelschenburg, june first 2002

With beautiful weather the yearly brand day for the foals took place in Hämelschenburg. The premium sire Summertime presented his first young stock!
His offspring convinced with big frame and an excellent type also combined with outstanding paces - light as a feather, cadenced and full of power ! The foals all got high points from the jury.
One filly by Summertime out of Hepburn by Kostolany (Breeder: Rolf Markmann, Grebenstein) got 10 points for her excellent trot.
A daughter of Summertime out of Schwalbenspiel by Exclusiv got a total of 63 points (owned by stud farm Hämelschenburg). This little princess got the highest ranking of 10 twice as well as a 9 three times !!!

ALTER FRITZ sent his first crop to Neumünster: CHABROL and GALVARO.
CHABROL (out of a dam by Santiago) is selected and was sold to England. GALVARO (out of Gwendolyn by Maestro) became the pricehit of the nonselected stallions, he was sold for DM 40.000,-- to a S-Dressage-rider.

SAMSARA, daughter of Schwalenburg (Elitemare, halfsister to Schwalbenlust, Schwadroneur and Showmaster,Stradivari, Sans Souci etc.), is dam of the selected stallion SARASANI (by Partout).

SCHWADRONEUR presented his son SHARAN (out of a Thoroughbredmare), who became selected as well. Schwadroneur's daughter EVITA has been sold to the Netherlands for DM 110.000,--!
As las year he was responsible for the pricehit of the mare-collection at the sales.

GUENDALINA, Premium- and Statepremiummare, (by Red Patrick xx out of Gwendolyn by Maestro) was honoured to be the best halfbredmare of the studbookentering 2001. She received the award of honour of the IG-Vollblut.

GRIBALDI and SILVERMOON, two sons of KOSTOLANY, presented the 1st and 2nd Reservechampion of the selection. As a result, Kostolany's sireline still very young, developes impressively and again his influence and impulse on the breed has been underlined with emphasis.
